Beginners Meditation Wollongong

Starts Tuesday 6th March

Four-week meditation course suitable for those who are completely new to a yoga and meditation or those looking to go deeper. This course focuses on not only the benefits and goals of a regular practice but also the common obstacles and how to overcome them. You will be directed through a number of techniques that are accessible to even the most resistant meditators.

This course is listed as beginners level because the practices are simple – yet they are also profound. You will receive three different take-home techniques each lesson that are so accessible they can be done in a formal “sitting meditation” or simply throughout your day whenever you remember.

As you integrate the practices of this course into your daily life you will find that you feel more balanced, patient and able to work through challenging situations and emotions. Further more you will feel more centred and connected to a deeper sense of who you are, whilst enjoying a more relaxed sense of steadiness as you move throughout your day.

Kelly began her meditation journey when she started working at the Nan Tien Temple fresh out of high school. She was drawn to the teachings and the practices kept her grounded and sane throughout her turbulent early twenties. Her yoga teacher training and practice has influenced her teaching significantly and she now teaches meditation practices mostly from the tantric and hatha yoga traditions. She teaches the practices that have had the most profound and significant effects within her own life and this is what she hopes to share with her students.
