Time: 8am – 5pm (with a 30 minute break at 10:30 and a 1hr break at 1:30pm)

JOIN US FOR THE FIRST TEACHER TRAINING MODULE TO BE OFFERED AT YOGA VIDYA!

The classes which have the most impact on our students are the ones that make sense, feel safe in the body and make them feel something beyond the physical experience. Take your teaching and knowledge of sequencing beyond general practice by learning to bring these elements into your teaching. 

This full day workshop will be broken into three components: 

  • Sequencing using alignment
  • Sequencing to a peak pose
  • Sequencing for a theme

Each component will include discussion, compilation of a sequence and the practice of each sequence created. 

This 7.5 hour workshop can be logged in your continuing education points with Yoga Alliance or as teacher training hours with Yoga Australia.

Meaghan will be offering a weekend immersion of four workshops called Alignment in Action introducing the Anusara Universal Principals of Alignment (UPA’S). Registration for the full three days is $330 early-bird if paid in full by January 10th and $380 full price.

MEAGHAN COLLINS

Meaghan Collins is an Anusara Inspired (certified) teacher and a Senior teacher with Yoga Australia. With over 13 years teaching experience and thousands of hours ongoing trainings and workshops under her belt, ranging from Ayurveda to Yoga Therapy, she brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to her classes.

Meaghan is known for her alignment based and heart-oriented, style of teaching which encourages a deep exploration of the body, breath and mind. Her teaching is designed to evoke thoughtfulness and mindfulness that moves beyond the time we spend on the mat.
