This practice encourages you to cultivate the idea of the witness and is grounding, energising and will leave you with a deep sense of calm.
 
Through strong and steady standing postures we build strength and calm. Then the practices of Kapalabhati, Uddiyana Bhanda and backbends increase prana in the body and through deep twists you will draw that energy into the centre and finish with a very calming meditation in place of savasana.

Please note the audio on this class has a bit of “clothes scrunching pick up” in the beginning but calms as the class gets going.

This 90 minute open hatha flow practice both starts and finishes with Viloma Pranayama and asks you to use the breath the brighten and expand the inner body. Expect to strengthen the back and work through standing poses, Vasthistasana and variations of Hero’s pose.
