1.5hr Open Hatha: Radical Presence & Persistant Gratitude into Pincha Prep

by | May 1, 2018 | Asana, Podcast, Yoga | 0 comments

One of the beautiful practices of the yoga tradition is that of contemplating the qualities you wish to cultivate in yourself. In this class we ask to know the experience of radical presence and persistent gratitude within our bodies.
Physically we focus on opening up and strengthening the chest and shoulders, working with backbends, deep side stretches and playing with a pinchamayurasana (forearm balance) prep at the wall. The class finishes with a meditation on the breath and the mantra Om before coming to savasana.
A studio full of cheeky and defiant yogis made for lots of ridiculousness and giggles throughout the later part of the class. Enjoy!
