Did you know that traditionally yoga was always taught one-on-one so as the teacher could give the student the specific practice regime that suited their specific needs and individual constitution?
WHY WOULD I HAVE PRIVATE YOGA SESSIONS?:
For a broad range of reasons. The thing I absolutely love about Yoga is that it is a complete system.
As we all know, modern postural yoga is a great form of exercise. The benefits from this aspect alone include:
Build strength and flexibility
Improve your balance through focusing on the muscles of stabilisation
Improve your physical performance in other sports or areas of training (e.g. surfing, golf, tennis, rugby etc.)
Support healthy weight loss
Recondition your body after injury or illness
Increase your energy and improve your sleep
So whilst yoga is great for the physical – Yoga in it’s essence is so much more! Yoga is a 2600 year old system that aims to integrate all the levels of our being and provide a roadmap for living our lives potently and to their highest potential.
This means: Whatever aspect of your life you are looking to improve or transform (physical, energetic, mental, emotional, spiritual) – Yoga has a work in!

WHAT WILL MY SESSIONS LOOK LIKE?Expect a highly tailored experience including take-home practices and even the odd mp3 delivered to your inbox to create change at the deepest level!
It depends on what your goals are. First we assess what type of change you would like to create in your body, mind and/or life. Then we get some clear markers for working out where you are, where you would like to be and some goal posts along the way.
Sessions are purchased in a package of three. The first session is 1.5hrs and the remaining sessions are one hour. You will receive take home practices and notes.This format essentially allows us to create the space for your own personally tailored yoga program!
Then, the real work starts! Our sessions together could include one or all of the following:
PRANAYAMA (BREATHING PRACTICES)
FLEXIBILITY FOCUS & TENSION RELEASE
TARGETED MEDITATION PRACTICE
YOGA NIDRA (YOGIC SLEEP)
RELEVANT PHILOSOPHY DISCUSSIONS
It all depends on what levels you are ready and willing to work!

Who are these sessions for?
People who are ready to create change in their life! That could be physical change in the look or (more importantly) FEEL of your body or shifts in your mental, emotional and energetic state of being.
People who feel like their physical injuries and conditions require more specialised care than teachers can offer in a group class.
People who feel like they need a bit more emotional support, nurture and gentle care than a teacher can provide in the group environment.
WHY WORK WITH ME?
Kelly has completed two teacher trainings, one in Vinyasa Yoga and one in Alignment based Hatha. Through her background in massage and natural medicine she has studied anatomy and physiology and has a great understanding of the mechanics of the body as well as the holistic approach needed to affect change on all levels.
Why work with me?
I teach alignment based Hatha, so not only can I guide you safely into reaching your physical goals; my specific and refined alignment instructions and hands on adjustments will facilitate a deeper experience of the more subtle energetics of each posture.
I have been practicing meditation and yoga for over 15 years and teaching for 7. My background is in massage and homeopathy so I have a great and thorough understanding of the body’s anatomy and physiology as well as the holistic approach to care. I have studied with great teachers, I am a dedicated student and I have been using these practices in my own life and therefor teach from experience.
My passion is making these traditional (yet seemingly lofty) practices super relevant, accessible and applicable to everyday modern people.

Because I love it and I want you to be happy and I want you to thrive! We might not even know each other – so that may sound a bit far fetched to you, but it’s the absolute truth. If you are feeling better and doing better in your life, the people around you will feel better too, and the people around them, and the people around them…. and so on. The fuller we all feel the more likely we are to do good things in this world and man does this world need some more good right now!

Investment: $255 for three sessions
Your three session package includes the following:
- Initial 75 minute intro session (20 minute assessment and goal setting, with the remaining time spent on practice of posture/pranayama/meditation etc)
- 2 x one hour follow up sessions
- Personally tailored program
- Take home practice notes
- Any mp3’s, photocopies or resources required for you to get the most out of your program
You may use your sessions weekly, fortnightly or monthly depending on your needs.
Your session pass must be used within three months.
