Is moving from kneeling to standing to uncomfortable for you to keep up with a regular yoga class?
Are you looking for ways to increase your flexibility and mobility whilst honouring the current limitations of your body?
Then this workshop is for you. It can be frustrating that the people who have the most to gain from a regular yoga practice are often the people that feel there isn’t a yoga class to meet their needs. This two and a half hour morning workshop caters to people feeling like even a beginners yoga class isn’t accessible to them. We cover sequences to increase circulation, flexibility and range of motion in all areas of the body. All postures and sequences can be done from the floor, standing or on a chair. You will learn how to modify common yoga poses to make them safe and accessible for your level of fitness, mobility or injury.
You will leave with a short 15 minute daily practice that will help you move towards more space, flexibility, strength and freedom within your body and mind.
Please note: You will need to take a short application form that addresses your level of mobility and detailing any health conditions or injuries so that the workshop can be tailored to best meet the needs of the group on the day.
