We have all heard that breath is life – but what is the quality of your breath?
Do you have great daily breathing habits?
So many of us unconsciously hold our breath in stressful situations, or breathe in a way that we are constantly triggering the stress response.
You might be cued to breathe deeper in yoga practice – but maybe you find you can’t access that whilst focusing on yoga postures at the same time
This workshop is a back to basics approach to get your breathing deeper, smoother, longer, and support your nervous system, increase your energy and invite a calm steady mind at the same time.
You will learn the following:
Techniques to increase the strength and function of your diaphragm
Learn how to use the full force of the lungs (and therefore get as much prana into your system as possible.
The connection between breath and mind and practices for reducing anxiety.
Techniques to increase the tone of the vagus nerve which supports health, longevity, energy and a healthy & resilient nervous system.

ABOUT YOUR TEACHER
Kelly practices and teaches yoga for the seemingly magic way it manages to align her with a fuller, richer and more vibrant way of being in the world. Through a dynamic hatha yoga practice, as well as meditation, mantra & pranayama – she aims to help her students feel more aligned with their own sense of potency and purpose.
Kelly is hatha and vinyasa trained, has been practicing yoga regularly for over 14 years, teaching for 8 and studied with inspirational teachers both locally and oversees. She enjoys sharing a strong alignment based flow class with a focus on attuning to the energetics of our yoga practice.
