PRATYAHARAAN AN ANCIENT ANTIDOTE FOR SENSORY OVERLOAD
Saturday 30th March 2019 | 2pm – 4pm
TURN DOWN THE NOISE
Deepen your connection to source, truth and clarity.
This event is the first of our new monthly members workshops. This series is designed to help you deepen into your practice through the aspects that we don’t have time to explore within the limitations of the open timetable.
It is no secret that we are constantly bombarded by a stream of sensory overload in our modern day culture. Constantly doing, rushing, listening, scrolling, consuming. Many people experience the effects of this through low to high level feelings of anxiety or just simply an inability to relax and switch off. Pratyahara, the practice of sense withdrawal offers a time tested antidote through the practice of tuning in and blocking out the noise of our lives to reconnect to source and truth.
In this 2 hour workshop we will explore this practice through asana, meditation and philosophy that can be practically applied to our every day lives in order to feel a great sense of presence, grounding and clarity.
